      Passing through Brantôme for a day of visiting the Venice of the Périgord Vert, come and have a meal at La Mandoline, a brasserie -style café that offers simple but delicious dishes to satisfy small and large appetites. Set in a rock shelter, the semi-troglodyte restaurant offers a menu that will please everyone! The terrace with a view of the Abbey will charm you, there are also places inside with a view of the bell tower. It is an atypical place to enjoy excellent burgers with homemade fries, good and plentiful salads, local beer, very good desserts.

    I'm giving it one star because the crepe was good, but the waitresses are awful.

    Warm welcome, friendly staff, decent daily menu, good portion, quality is there, good homemade fries, well-located restaurant, if we pass through the area again we will stop there again.

    Beautifully situated. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything else. None of the four of us enjoyed the food, the table and cutlery weren't clean, the glasses were only three-quarters full, and the service was extremely unfriendly. Just a few meters away, there's a great ice cream parlor and other restaurants. I definitely don't recommend visiting "La Mandoline."

    Absolutely fabulous set lunch! We visited the town in a very hot market day, and returned again to this fabulous little restaurant. The food and service was great, hopefully see you again next year!!
