    • Bimbillou Park: a must-see tourist site in Brantôme in Périgord

On the banks of the Dronne River, in the heart of Brantôme – nicknamed the Venice of Périgord – Bimbillou Parc has quickly become a new must-see destination for tourism in the Dordogne. At the crossroads of history, nature, and conviviality, this unique site offers visitors a comprehensive experience, designed for everyone.

      A journey into troglodyte heritage

The main route invites you to discover a rare troglodyte site, composed of the first mill dug by the Benedictine monks, an unfinished hotel, a troglodyte house and numerous natural cavities. The visit is free, thanks to explanatory panels, while enjoying the natural coolness of the caves (at 18 °C).

      A lively, family-friendly site

To turn discovery into a truly fun experience, Bimbillou Parc offers around ten traditional wooden games, as well as a puzzle trail and activities suitable for all ages. It's the ideal place for a family outing in the Dordogne, combining culture and fun.

A friendly break by the water

After the visit, head to the Bimbillou bar, which will be moved to a new, developed island in 2025. In this bucolic setting, a permanent food truck offers regional dishes, while the bar serves cold drinks and homemade ice cream. A real guinguette spirit on the banks of the river, to prolong the pleasure and share a moment of relaxation with live music and themed evenings.

      Welcoming travelers in camper vans

The site also has a private parking area for motorhomes, open all year round. With its spacious pitches, practical services (drainage, water, daytime toilets) and its natural setting, it is an ideal stopover for those traveling through the Périgord.

      A human and family adventure

Behind this project lies the story of two cousins, Théo and Tom, who wanted to realize the dream of their grandfather, Claude Martinot. Passionate about antiques and founder of the Font Vendôme motorhome brand, he had imagined opening this site to the public. A few months after his death, his grandsons took up the challenge and brought this atypical tourist park to life, the fruit of their hard work and their attachment to Brantôme.

By combining history, heritage, games, gastronomy and accommodation, the Bimbillou Parc has established itself as an unmissable tourist site in the Dordogne, where each visitor enjoys a complete, authentic and friendly experience.
