On the banks of the Dronne River, in the heart of Brantôme – nicknamed the Venice of the Périgord – Bimbillou Parc has quickly become a must-see destination for tourists in the Dordogne. A journey into the troglodytic heritage

The main trail invites visitors to discover a rare troglodytic site, comprising the first mill excavated by Benedictine monks, an unfinished hotel, a troglodytic house, and numerous natural caves. The visit is self-guided, thanks to explanatory panels, while visitors can enjoy the natural coolness of the caves (18°C).

A lively, family-friendly site

To transform discovery into a truly fun experience, Bimbillou Parc offers around ten traditional wooden games, as well as a puzzle trail and activities suitable for all ages. It's the ideal place for a family outing in the Dordogne, combining culture and fun.

A pleasant break by the water

After the visit, head to the Bimbillou bistro, which will relocate in 2025 to a newly developed island. In this idyllic setting, a permanent food truck offers regional dishes, while the bar serves refreshing drinks and homemade ice cream. A true riverside café atmosphere awaits, perfect for extending the enjoyment and sharing a relaxing moment with live music and themed evenings.

Welcoming travelers in motorhomes

The site also features a private car park for motorhomes, open year-round. With its spacious pitches, convenient services (waste disposal, water, daytime toilets) and its natural setting, it's an ideal stopover for those travelling through the Périgord region.

A human and family adventure

Behind this project lies the story of two cousins, Théo and Tom, who wanted to fulfill the dream of their grandfather, Claude Martinot. A passionate antique collector and founder of the Font Vendôme motorhome brand, he had envisioned opening this site to the public. A few months after his passing, his grandsons took up the challenge and brought this unique tourist park to life, the fruit of their hard work and their deep connection to Brantôme.
