A very beautiful place by the river where nature is omnipresent. This route takes us into ancient times with a multitude of tools, objects, machines, utensils...we enter cavities, troglodyte shelters, an old convent, an old unfinished hotel. Then, we pass by a wash house, an old mill...in short, an atypical visit to a site that is just as unusual! Hunt for clues during the visit for children and refreshments by the river at the end of the tour. I recommend this timeless place, for old people, for children, for families...for everyone! Thank you for bringing this magnificent project to fruition...long life to Bimbillou Parc!

Especially not to be missed in BRANTOME. A calm and peaceful place, you can eat there thanks to the small snack bar at the entrance to the park, bar also available. Welcoming and friendly staff. A fun and nostalgic visit at the same time. In the troglodyte remains of a convent, a mill or even an old quarry, you can discover objects from yesteryear. A superb walk, in the shade of the trees and the sound of the water, everything to relax. A large car park, but also a very nice location provided for camper vans. A plus, dogs (on a leash) are accepted.

The young managers and owners of the site are very welcoming and friendly. This place is a real museum which presents accessories, tools and manufactured products forgotten by time that are good to (re)discover. The little treasure hunt organized throughout the discovery of the site is a great find. The restoration work is remarkable and requires a lot of energy which must be highlighted and which must be supported by helping the owners with a visit to the site which I recommend, not to mention that the coffee and beer are excellent. The free parking adjoins paid parking for motorhomes for a reasonable cost of 11.10 for 24 hours on the banks of the Dronne in a green setting. 4 stars ? Yes, for the encouragement and the pleasant time I spent there. Well done.
