The Verdots Vineyard – Maison Wessman, located in Conne-de-Labarde, is among the notable estates of the Bergerac and Périgord Pourpre regions. The estate takes its name from the Verdots spring, visible beneath the winery. This underground spring supplies the soil with naturally rich water and helps maintain stable humidity levels throughout the year. The clay-limestone subsoil, perceptible inside the cellar, contributes to the thermal balance necessary for aging the wine and to the natural temperature regulation within the underground cellar.

The estate also houses Maison Wessman restaurant by Thierry Marx, a bistro-style establishment focused on contemporary cuisine using local produce. The menu changes with the seasons and showcases locally sourced ingredients.
