191 years of history, traditions… to savor
The history of Maison CLOVIS REYMOND began in 1834 in Villamblard, in the heart of Périgord. Its founder Louis Reymond, known as "Clovis", an innkeeper and distiller, obtained a license to distil in 1834.
Later, his son, whom he named Clovis, founded the Distillery. It is he who can be seen emerging, top hat on his head and spoon in hand, from a bowl of flaming punch on the labels of the first bottles. The house obtained six major diplomas in the 1890s and its founder was hors-competition and a member of the jury at many national and international exhibitions and received the industrial grand cross for punch and Clovis grog.
