  Incredible but true! I've never seen such a vulgar and dishonest restaurant owner! We had a reservation for 16 people and there were 17 of us. This man pointed it out and made it very clear that we couldn't count... We all decided to order set menus: a choice of buffet starters, main courses, and desserts, except for us. Since 17 covers was "a lot," he insisted we have starters and desserts of his own choosing! The beef was very tough; many of us didn't eat it. At the end of the meal, we mentioned these minor issues, without even complaining. This "businessman's" response, and I quote, very angrily, was: "Don't give me a hard time, you're annoying me, get lost and don't bother coming back." At least there's one thing we agree on! I understand better now why there are so few people in his parking lot every time we drive by. What surprises me most are the reviews; practically all 5 stars on Google, but check TripAdvisor, it's a completely different story... Sorting, you say!?

  A reservation was made for 17 people without any particular comments during the booking process. Upon arrival, the dining room was overheated, and the air conditioning was off, quickly making the meal uncomfortable. Another unpleasant surprise: despite the mention of a "choice of starters," we were offered no choice. It was terrine for everyone. The same was true for dessert, which was the same for everyone despite what had been advertised. For the main course, we had ordered a rare ribeye steak with Sarlat-style potatoes. The meat arrived overcooked and, more importantly, extremely tough, to the point of being inedible for several of us. As for the Sarlat-style potatoes that were supposed to be served, they had simply disappeared: it was fries for everyone, without even informing us. When it came time to pay, I simply pointed out, calmly, that we had not had a choice of starters or desserts, that the promised side dishes had not been provided, and that the quality of the meat was truly disappointing. The owner's response was particularly inappropriate: “No one has ever complained about the meat, and you're not going to give me a hard time on a Tuesday afternoon. If you're not happy, go eat somewhere else.” All this in front of about fifteen customers. Beyond the disappointing meal, it's the owner's attitude that's the real problem: no self-reflection, no listening, and a complete lack of respect for the customers. It's a shame, because the waitresses were attentive and professional. They deserve much better.
