The charming village of Bourdeilles is located in the Périgord Vert. It is best known for its castles, its green landscapes and its peaceful atmosphere.
A bit of history
Bourdeilles was one of the four baronies of Périgord, testifying to its historical importance. The castles of Bourdeilles, built on a rocky spur, offer breathtaking views of the Dronne Valley. Their architecture mixes medieval and Renaissance styles. Today they house a museum and temporary exhibitions.
