Albié Foie Gras Artisanal foie gras from the Périgord Noir region in Les Eyzies de Tayac

Founded in the 1960s in Marquay, in the heart of the Périgord noir, the Albié foie gras company was created by Mrs. Huberte Albié, to be joined in the 1990s by her son Philippe.

Together, and with the help of a dedicated team, they made the creation of fine preserves their specialty. Regularly awarded and recognized by their customers, Maison Albié quickly made a name for itself in Périgord.

Since 2012, the third generation of the family has arrived with Quentin. Still with a local and experienced team, for over 20 years the Albié company has combined know-how and innovation.
Indeed, we work with the recipes of our ancestors, using the same tools, while adding a slight touch of innovation. Maison Albié is committed to and applies all its expertise to offer you excellence. This commitment is reflected in the rigorous selection of our raw materials. For over 60 years, we have been working with Périgord fattened duck, the "mulard," raised for 14 weeks using traditional methods in open pens fed on yellow grain corn. Since the 1960s, you can find us year-round at the open-air markets of the Périgord Noir region.

Also present since 2002 under the covered market of Sarlat “Eglise st Marie” open every morning from April to October and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from November to March.
