An exciting and intoxicating moment at the Salamandre distillery

Located in the Périgord Noir region, 4 km from Sarlat, is the Salamandre distillery, run by the Gatinel family, passionate artisans since the late 1960s. Ancestral know-how and family recipes are offered in this historic setting, which has evolved through generations, preserving the quality and authenticity of their local products. Renowned for their eaux-de-vie, they also offer a range of aperitifs, fruits in liqueur, creams, and liqueurs. The fruits are meticulously selected to release the finest flavors, thanks to the delicate art of distillation. You can taste these spirits after a free, one-hour self-guided tour of the estate, Monday to Friday between 8 am and 12 pm, and then from 2 pm to 6 pm. Groups are welcome by reservation, with the option of guided tours. Any regrets?
