“We must follow the Pilgrim”, the new Tèrra Aventura route in Périgueux

Stay tuned, on June 22, 2024, Tèrra Aventura Périgueux opens a new itinerary on the theme of animals, whose origin is a pair of Peregrine falcons nestled in the Cathedral of Périgueux. Open your eyes wide, you may be lucky enough to see these shy birds which remain discreet, since the departure is at the foot of the Cathedral on Place Mauvard. Then go down to the water's edge along the river, but not too fast! The view of the Cathedral is magnificent when you turn around after a few steps. Along the Island, you can observe the ducks, fish and fishermen trying to catch them, before going up to the Arènes garden, not far from the Gallo-Roman Vésunna Museum. The gardens of Vésone are the next stop where kestrels can be seen in the Tour de Vésone. Look up and take the time to contemplate them. “We have to follow the Pilgrim”, it's a journey of around ten steps to follow to have the chance to find the much-deserved Poï'z, be the first to inaugurate it! Allow two hours to cover the 5 km, on simple terrain accessible to all.
