Visit of Périgueux, its historic center

Périgueux, the capital of Périgord Blanc, can be visited in all seasons.
If the summer is livelier, the small local shops, crafts and various products are open all year round and do we need anything other than our eyes to marvel at the heritage? As soon as the summer season returns, the Périgueux Tourist Office and the Municipality organize guided tours of certain buildings. Find out more before your stay, or consult the agenda of activities in the Dordogne on the Guide du Périgord.

In our video, follow us from the city center, the Place du Thouin in front of the splendid Saint-Front Cathedral. Its forecourt extends to Place de la Clautre where the weekly market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as the summer gourmet night markets.
