  We came especially for a visit on October 2nd normally the little train runs until the end of October there it was at a standstill and yet when we call the number indicated to get the tickets we are told that it opens at 1:30 p.m. and that it closes at 5 p.m. so to summarize on the website it is open on the phone it is open and when we go to the tourist office we are told that it is closed as it is a little private train they cannot intervene to let people know that it is closed it would still be good if the owner let everyone know that his train is not running

  Visit this Monday 09/15/2025: on the site announced as open while it is "exceptionally" closed for an indefinite period!!! Too bad, we were not able to take advantage of the guided tour to get to know Périgueux better
