Le Comptoir Authentique The taste of Périgord in an exceptional grocery store

Le Comptoir Authentique is a delicatessen offering products from Périgord and other French regions, cheese and charcuterie by the slice, a wine cellar and spirits section, a gift/decoration/tableware area and a canteen for lunch.

This charming boutique was voted "best point of sale in fine food" in France in 2020 by the Gourmet Selection trade fair.

It is located 200m from the Ste Marie church in Sarlat and 250m from the Grande Rigaudie car park, in the heart of Sarlat in the medieval city.

Laurie and Benoît are happy to welcome you there in high season every day from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm without interruption (open from Monday to Saturday in low season).

In the grocery store, you will find, among other things, a wide selection of regional products:

• Wines (Bergerac, Pécharmant, Monbazillac, Cahors…)
• Artisanal duck and goose foie gras and specialties made with Muscovy duck
• Walnut cakes and other local delicacies
• Organic and artisanal beer from Périgord
• Aperitifs made with walnuts, chestnuts, plums, liqueurs, brandies…
• Aquitaine caviar, Périgord truffle butter and Neuvic caviar butter
• Salt, oils, vinegars, Périgord truffle mustard
• Black truffle from Périgord, crisps, cheese and truffle sausage...

Free tasting of regional products all summer long (aperitif, wines, cakes, honeys, jams...).

You will also find a fresh produce section, spices, loose leaf tea and a dedicated area for aperitifs (vegetable spreads, fish spreads, beers, flavored rums, whiskies, fruit juices…).
