  Family visit to this ruined castle. Filming location for the film "The Tattooed One" starring Louis de Funés and Jean Gabin. Photos from scenes from the film can be found there. We went on a treasure hunt, which kept teens and adults entertained, showing us every part of the castle (the dovecote, the courtyard with its fountain, the sheepfold, the kitchen, and even an underground passage). Regional products are on sale at reception (wines, walnut oils, jams, etc.). ❌️ Credit cards are not accepted.

  We loved the castle, but we had a big problem with the friendliness of the woman who welcomed us... We felt like we were intruding, we were yelled at (yes, really!), the children were on a treasure hunt! They brought the famous trophy back to this woman (the sign indicated that if they brought back the treasure they were entitled to a homemade waffle [sold for 50 cents in the shop]. Delighted, he gave the treasure away, "yes, you have to eat to get the waffle!" Big disappointment for the children who were so happy! Too bad!
