    • Burned down in 1944 by the Germans, this site was the filming location for the movie "Le Tatoué" (The Tattooed Man) starring Louis de Funès and Jean Gabin. Located just 5km from Sarlat and very close to Souillac, it features a majestic dovecote, entrance porch, chapel, Renaissance fountain, panoramic terraces, a large well, a grotto, Renaissance and medieval sections, a retrospective on traditional crafts, and a unique underground escape passage. Free parking.

    Hello, we visited the castle today, and it was a wonderful visit! Another piece of heritage to protect and preserve. I highly recommend visiting it; you'll be pleasantly surprised by this place steeped in history. And thank you to everyone involved in this project.

    Visite du château en famille hier. Bâtisse splendide. On imagine dans difficulté la resplendissance du lieu passée et à venir. Les feu de 1944 on bien endommagé le lieu mais le courage des nouveaux propriétaires va en faire un lieu magnifique. Merci au jeune châtelain pour son accueil. Venez découvrir ce lieu magnifique, avec ses son tunnel échappatoire, sa grotte... Vous pouvez repartir après un petit verre avec de bons produits artisanaux...
