Meeting Dominique is like opening a book full of wisdom and advice , provided with kindness and availability. For years, he has been reinventing a place that respects nature, to commune as best as possible with the environment. A constantly evolving achievement, you find:

• Photovoltaic panels which provide energy independence up to covering 2/3 of production in high season, -
• The installation of 2 electrical terminals for cars.
• A bicycle room with charging racks for electric bicycles.

Located 1.5 km from the Sarlat-Souillac cycle path, Dominique advocates gentle roaming and offers different circuits departing from the Hameau du Sentier des Source on his blog. In line with its ideas, the site will soon be labeled “Accueil Vélo”.

Residing at Hameau du Sentier des Sources means discovering a charming village with 8 houses, 5 studios and 1 “chic” cabin, the new feature of the year. The houses with Périgord architecture were built using ancestral methods combining lime, raw wood and old stones from old ruined houses.

Even the insulation, based on hemp and aerial lime, is made with natural and sustainable materials . With a capacity of 2 to 3 people, the studios are perfect for couples or small families. Larger groups can meet in the houses, large enough to accommodate 2 to 15 people. Among them, two gîtes , the Métairie and the Grange aux Amis, have a large living room for shared meals. The last one, the “chic” cabin, called “the KUB”, has a panoramic terrace with an incredible view of the DORDOGNE valley and a wood-heated Nordic spa, an ideal refuge for lovers.

All its eco-lodges form a charming village where each resident has access to a permaculture vegetable garden to pick nature's products in complete freedom. Aromatic plants, flowers, strawberries, raspberries, zucchini, tomatoes, you have what you need to prepare delicious dishes or homemade infusions. Take a tour of the property, you will be able to meet the happy tenants all year round: the ponies who can walk you, the sheep in semi-freedom and the two adorable dwarf goats. As an extension of the estate, through around ten hectares of gentle meadows punctuated with woods, orchards and truffle groves, a pretty path bordered by old dry stone walls twists and turns, this is “the Vallon des Champs Heureux”. In this place reserved for you, pick your seasonal fruits, collect mushrooms and hunt for truffles, perhaps even between dogs and wolves you will surprise hares and deer.
