The cow goes organic: the pleasure of authenticity
A farm on a human scale in a unique setting
Located in Montignac-Lascaux, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the EARL du Vinagrou is a family business that has passed on its know-how for 5 generations . We breed around 50 dairy cows of the Prim' Holstein breed, renowned for their milk production. They feast on the food produced on the farm, in the greatest respect of the specifications of Organic Farming, and graze from morning to evening. We pamper them, spoil them, pamper them in order to obtain a rich milk, essential for the production of tasty dairy desserts !
Come meet us and discover our farm at the foot of the Lascaux caves, in the Vézère Valley, which benefits from the Grand Site de France label.
Farm products, healthy and good for the planet!
Treat yourself to our ice creams, cheeses and yogurts 100% from organic farming and made on the farm from the good milk of our cows. All our products are made by hand in our processing laboratory close to the milking parlour, which allows us to have very fresh milk, fresh from the cow's udder!
The unctuously exquisite taste of our farmhouse ice creams is made possible by a manufacturing method that scrupulously respects each step, in order to always offer you the best of our expertise. In terms of flavors, you will be spoiled for choice: classics such as vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pistachio, sweet yogurt, strawberry yogurt, lemon yogurt, mint with chocolate chips... to more original ones such as walnuts with organic kernels from from our farm, hazelnut, blueberry, chestnut cream, prune cream, Périgord honey… there is something for everyone!
With us, everything is organic! This means that we only use ingredients from Organic Farming, certified and labeled: no chemical treatments on the crops and no antibiotics for the cows. Our products therefore respect both the health of the consumer and that of the planet! Whenever possible, we use local producers for the fruits used and we do not use any artificial colors or flavors.
We also produce and sell organic walnuts and walnut oil.
Welcome to our house !
We warmly welcome you every day to share with you our love and our pride in making products from the Périgourdin region, which respect people and the environment. You can come and visit our cows and calves because the farm is open access.
It is also possible to taste our farm products and have a picnic on site.
The store is open in July and August from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. non-stop. Out of season, the hours are flexible.
