Site du Regourdou Museums / Arts and Insdustrial Heritage in Montignac

The Regourdou site is very close to the famous Lascaux cave, in the town of Montignac-Lascaux. Two Neanderthal skulls, a burial place and a bear skull were found in a cavity. The owner of the premises sensed that this animal had symbolic importance in Neanderthal culture. He therefore developed the site, with a bear park.
