In the valley of man in the heart of the Périgord Noir, 5 mm from Lascaux IX and Lascaux II in Montignac sur Vézère, come and discover an authentic site steeped in history.
Coming to Régourdou means discovering the extraordinary destiny of Roger Constant, the inventor of the site. Thanks to his perseverance, this man, passionate about prehistory, unearthed after several years of research, the almost complete skeleton of a young Neanderthal. This burial is considered to this day to be the oldest in all of Western Europe (90,000 BP).

An exceptional guided tour is offered to you on this major archaeological site, classified as a historic monument. This immersion in the time of Neanderthals will allow you to discover the life and environment of these fascinating men, who delivered the first symbolic concerns of humanity.
You will take an exciting journey to meet your ancestor, Neanderthal man. Along a shaded path, you will discover the deposit, the chasm, the parks of living brown bears, and the museum. Visit suitable for all ages, suitable for young and old.

The price of the visit includes free access to the excavation pit and mystery boxes.
