 ORT DISTILLERY

The Òrt distillery, the “garden” in Occitan, is located in Montignac-Lascaux. Brother and sister, we created our distillery on the old farm of our grandparents. The choice to create organic spirits is the result of the meeting of our know-how and our passions. Lois is a master distiller. He trained in Scotland and then worked for four years in one of the driving distilleries of the revival of artisanal gin in England. Nolwenn has worked in the world of research on the themes of agro-ecological transition.

We are betting on creating spirits that are audacious in taste and have a low environmental impact. They are distilled from aromatic plants grown on site in organic farming. Special feature unique in France: our still is heated by solar energy !
