The land of gluttony:

Sorges is known to gourmets worldwide as the capital of the black truffle, the famous "Tuber melanosporum". Sorges has dedicated an ecomuseum to its black diamond, created in 1982.

• its magnificent Romanesque church (12th century),
• the remains of a medieval castle,
• several historic residences (medieval/renaissance)

• a truffle discovery trail,

The tourist information office welcomes you year-round within the grounds of the truffle ecomuseum. Gourmet truffle platters are available year-round, and there is also a shop selling local products.

• Monday to Saturday (except Tuesday) from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5pm, Sunday 9am to 12:30pm
• Closed on Tuesdays and public holidays

February to June and September to November:

• Monday to Saturday (except Tuesday) from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5pm
• Closed on Tuesdays, Sundays, and public holidays (except Whit Monday).

July and August:

• Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm
• Sunday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm
• Open on July 14th and August 15th
