The land of gluttony:
Sorges is known to gourmets around the world as the capital of the black truffle, the famous "tuber melanosporum." Sorges has dedicated an eco-museum to its black diamond, created in 1982.
Events:- the great “Truffle and Fat Festival” (last weekend of January),
- Controlled truffle markets (Sunday mornings from December to February).
Things to see in Sorges:- its magnificent Romanesque church (12th century),• remains of a medieval fortified castle,

- several historic residences (medieval/renaissance)

- a truffle discovery trail,
