Le Causse de l’Isle Nature Reserves / Parks in Savignac les Eglises

The Causses de l'Isle are formed by a limestone plateau on the heights of Savignac-les-Églises, north of Périgueux. It is a very particular and unusual environment in Périgord. It is classified as a “Sensitive Natural Area”, to protect its characteristic flora and fauna. Its small traditional heritage, made up of “bories” and dry stone walls, is also interesting. Many trails crisscross it and you can make several hiking trails , equipped with outdoor health and fitness trails. A Randoland treasure hunt is also available to involve children.
