Pastels Girault Art Galleries in Montignac

A stone's throw from the International Center for Parietal Art (Lascaux 4), the Pastels Girault® invite you to visit their art gallery entirely dedicated to this medium. Unique in France, you can permanently admire around fifty paintings by international artists of great talent, most of whom bear the title of “Master Pastellist”.

• Admission is free and for everyone.

Art lover, collector or simple epicurean, enjoy this permanent exhibition which offers an artistic journey through various universes.

From abstract to hyperrealism, find portraits, landscapes, still lifes, trompe l'oeil, impressionism, animals, seascapes... Everything is possible with dry pastels and it's is what you are offered to discover.

Is the crush there? As the saying goes: buy from artists while they're alive. Afterwards, it is of no use to them and it is more expensive!

Open Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from March to December

and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from June to September.

Free admission and parking, all works are available for sale.

The cave painters being the first pastel artists, what better place to concentrate this art than the town of Montignac-Lascaux.
