  We stayed for 6 nights in the Etosha room on the ground floor. It is a very spacious room with all the comforts, a spacious bathroom, a terrace and an outdoor seating area. The room is tastefully decorated with African touches. Fresh water can be requested daily and you can always have coffee or tea in the art gallery next to the room. There is a good bed and sufficient storage space. There is the possibility to buy drinks (wine, beer, snacks) from the fridge in the gallery. Every day there is a tasty and varied breakfast with everything you need. You can have breakfast inside or outside. Outside you can enjoy a beautiful view of the region. There is a spacious garden with many trees and greenery and a heated large jacuzzi with loungers and a garden lounge, where it is wonderful to stay. We used the table d'hote twice. It was very tasty and more than enough (main course, salad, cheese, dessert,...) for a good price. This gave the advantage that you no longer have to drive if you want to drink some wine with your meal in a nearby restaurant. The chambre d'hote is about 2 km away from the main road. There is sufficient information in the room for excursions in the area. There is a lot to see and visit. At breakfast -if necessary- additional information is given about the chosen destination of the day. Florence and Nathalie provided a warm welcome with all the necessary information and they paid a lot of attention to the privacy of the guests. They were always reachable by text message if necessary. Both inside and outside everything was very tastefully decorated and everything was in beautiful design, even the cutlery. We had a very nice and pleasant stay in luxury and peace and were able to explore the beautiful region. I would recommend Hors-Série en Périgord to everyone!!

  Simply Magical! Sometimes there are places, encounters, that evoke an immediate emotion. Where to begin? A magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, what enchantment. A perfectly renovated building combining the charm of old stone and contemporary design; everything is thoughtfully and tastefully arranged. The art gallery, which you pass through to reach your room, takes you on a journey; everything is beautiful. We stayed in the magnificently decorated Escale room: how could you not escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in this place? The spa invites you to disconnect, each person enjoying their own space in complete tranquility, with a view that leaves room for contemplation. A succulent homemade breakfast with eggs from Edith (the neighbor), excellent jams, all complemented by Florence and Nathalie's daily preparations. The evening meals (table d'hôtes) prepared by Nathalie are simply delicious. And then there's Florence and Nathalie, who have created a place that perfectly reflects their passions, their taste, and their delicacy. What an encounter: unparalleled hospitality, kindness, discretion, attentiveness, tact, and a humor we all love. They surprised us with their invitation to travel, here or elsewhere. Don't change a thing! Even Fantôme charmed us. We leave Florence and Nathalie with regret, but with the undeniable and unmistakable thought of returning to meet them again and delight in this magical place: Hors Série en Périgord. Elise & Pascal

  Back from Florence and Nathalie's, we remain under the absolute spell of these two days spent at their small estate. What is most rewarding here is the welcome and the contact with our two hostesses. Such kindness, intelligence, and refinement make this place a little paradise. What a joy to chat with them, but what can we say about the decor, the cuisine, the magnificent breakfasts... So many talents combined make this place a stay to absolutely discover!
