"Special Edition": a photographic art gallery in the Périgord Noir region
Nathalie Houdin and Florence Devaux are photographers. Seeking a new life project, they fell under the spell of the Périgord Noir region and this 19th-century building with its sweeping views. After extensive renovations, they have made it their home and transformed the barn into an art gallery. It's the realization of a long-held dream, a somewhat audacious project, but with passion, anything is possible—and this proves it!
The ART GALLERY is literally built into the side of the rock. A design-oriented and mineral atmosphere prevails, where stone echoes the metal of the grand staircase and the wood of the original framework. "A raw beauty, white, cement, pebbles, rock, and works of art… the whole exudes an energizing purity." (Marie-Dominique Perrin - journalist and columnist)
This unique venue hosts temporary exhibitions from June to September. "We choose our photographers for their high standards, originality, and the quality of their work." The exhibited art prints are available for purchase. There is a boutique area upstairs.
