  Small, unassuming, and lovely. The proprietor and the quality of the food are perfect. Merci beaucoup, Monsieur. (I would love to know the name of the small round cheese. One of the best ever.)

  This is not about the products (which are by the way very nice), but about the service. I was in this (very nice) shop with my two-year-old boy who was very interested in all the small things around him. Although I kept running after him the whole time and kept watching what he did, the lady remarked that the child must not touch anything (at that moment he had looked at canned sardines). It was a bit of a shock because I was being very careful indeed. It seems obvious to me that children (as well as adults) can/may touch things: it is not a museum, but a shop. The lady went on and told me in a sanctimonious way: you ought to teach them (children). It feels wrong to me to forbid everything to children instead of explaining to them that they have to be careful with what it is they do touch...which is exactly what my son did.

  Great salads, very friendly staff. Open for food after 3pm with sandwiches and salads to choose from. Also nice gourmet selections to purchase.
