In 1940, a dog disappeared into a hole which led to the discovery of the Lascaux cave.
His name was Robot [ro·bo]. Today, we invite you to discover.

Behind Ro.bo is the team of chef Nick Honeyman and his wife Sina, who also own the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Petit Léon about 10km away.

The restaurant is located at the Hôtel de Bouilhac and offers elegant dining rooms, a superb terrace and a cosy bar offering tailor-made cocktails.

You can book a table directly on the website. We recommend booking as early as possible as we cannot guarantee availability.

Ro.bo is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

Find it on the Guide du Périgord's Blog...

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The renovation of such a stunning heritage building was superb and the interiors were gorgeous, and styled in a way that was sympathetic to the building and its history. The staff were so welcoming that at times we forgot we were staying in a hotel, the rooms were immaculate and we enjoyed the best meal we had in France on this trip in the elegantly styled restaurant. Our stay at Hotel de Bouilhac was superlative in every aspect and we hope to return again soon. Our thanks go out to everyone who made our stay such a perfect one, you could not have done more.

I had a great time at the hotel; I really liked my room. The restaurant was good too, and I liked finding certain gems on the wine list, such as the wines of Fabien Jouves - "Mas del Périé". I would have liked to find the same attention to detail at breakfast, which unfortunately was not the case.

It is rustic and beautifully renovated, retaining the original castle construction, charm and atmosphere. The restaurant is world class, definitely worth a few Michelin stars. The staff are nice and very helpful.

We had expected a great improvement since the Petit Leon owners took over. It certainly was better, but still not good enough for the price. There were a few Petit Leon signature touches - dots of...

A restaurant like this - in a superb building and charging very high prices - ought to be consistently better, with a much higher percentage of five and four star reviews and fewer bad ones. What is...
