Abbey Church of Paunat Abbeys, Churches, Priories in Paunat

The church with its bell tower was consecrated in 991. The current church has a rectangular choir which dates from the 12th century and which was ribbed in the 14th century. The current nave was built in the 15th century. As for the porch bell tower, it has not undergone any alteration since its construction in the 12th century.

The Chartreuse du Colombier is surrounded by a 2-hectare park, labeled Remarkable Garden. The stroll takes place from the vegetable garden with old roses, from the greenhouse to the music pavilion, between boxwood, fountain and Italian-inspired statues.
