  A good store, but it lacks atmosphere. Good vegetables, sometimes a bit pricey, but still affordable.

  As a customer of the Bergerac store two to three times a week since the Arnouilh family took it over, I was quite satisfied with the service from the staff. However, today, for the second time, a certain employee—who, in my opinion, should have retired some time ago—pounced on us when we opened a refrigerated display case to choose six packs of chicken thighs by weight, which must have taken 10 to 15 seconds. She told us we had to leave it closed to avoid condensation and that we should think before opening it! She probably thinks she's lecturing children by talking like that! This employee has absolutely no business sense and clearly doesn't understand her role. She shouldn't have any contact with customers; she just makes you want to run away! I pointed this out to her, and she turned on her heel and told me I could take it however I wanted! We used to be tobacconists and we know about customer service, and this woman certainly doesn't have it! It's a shame; I think we'll have to change shops and go to Creysse where we're greeted with a smile!
