Glaces Javerzac in Saint-Martial-d'Artenset near Bergerac in Dordogne (24), is a farm specialized in the breeding of dairy cows and the manufacture of derived products: ice creams and sorbets.
Using a traditional method for the breeding, we favor healthy and natural food to guarantee the quality of the products as well as their authentic and tasty flavors.

The team of Glaces Javerzac in Saint-Martial-d'Artenset in Dordogne (24) between Montpon Ménestérol and Mussidan, is specialized in the production of artisanal ice creams.
We offer you a wide range of tasty and creamy products. Different ice creams at unique prices.
Whenever possible, we take our ingredients from local producers and suppliers which allows us to elaborate ice creams and sorbets without artificial coloring or preservatives and to obtain ice creams of high gustative quality.- All ice creams are made with fresh milk and cream, produced on the farm. Then we add egg yolk, sugar and flavourings.
- The sorbets are mainly made from fruit, about 50% of which is prepared with water and sugar.
- The fruit is purchased from local producers if possible, or from wholesalers if it is not produced in the region, such as bananas for example.
ARTISANAL DAIRY PRODUCTION
The company is composed of Michel and his son Florian for the transformation part. Gilbert, the grandfather, although retired, is always there to help. Célia joined the team after obtaining her BAC Pro in commerce and her CAP in ice cream.
We raise Prim'Holstein and Simmental dairy cows which are renowned for their milk production. The herd counts 50 dairy cows.
We have a system of exploitation which favours the maximum grazing, in the meadows close to the buildings of breeding, throughout the beautiful season. The rest of the year, the feed is mainly composed of corn silage and ryegrass and clover silage.
As for the store and the transformation laboratory, they are located right next to the milking room, and are visible as soon as you arrive at the farm. All the steps of manufacturing and production are made by us, using our know-how passed on for 4 generations.DISCOVERY OF THE FARM & GAMES FOR THE LITTLE ONES
In July and August, Glaces Javerzac in Saint-Martial-d'Artenset near Ribérac in Dordogne (24) proposes you various free activities and accessible to all : young and old are welcome.
A plant maze with a course that can be completed in 20 to 45 minutes, a circuit of pedal go-karts for wild races, a foot-golf course, several games of rackets, balls, slides, etc.
The farm is also open to the public and you can meet the cows and calves. It is possible to attend the milking from 6 to 7 pm.
- Every day in July and August from 2pm to 7pm
- Out of season, open every 1st Saturday of each month, from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 6pm.
