    • Our restaurant in the heart of a beautiful Périgord house of the 19th century adopts a cosy style where the warm colours of the velvets and fabrics match the beams and the local stone. The terrace has a nice view over the countryside and the flowered garden that goes down to the swimming pool where you can have lunch under the trees on sunny days.

The scented and inventive cuisine celebrates fresh and local products, foie gras, duck breast, truffles, asparagus…

The wine list has been carefully selected, and we also offer a wide choice of artisan cheeses on the plateau.

A light and fresh menu is available in summer.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Eva at Reception was most accommodating and helpful. Our room was charming. The grounds were incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant was excellent in every respect- from the beautiful ambience to the outstanding service to the marvelous food and wine, we couldn’t have asked or expected anything more. Thank you to all at La Metairie for providing us with such a great memory!

Hotel La Metairie is truly a get away. Situated in the beautiful French countryside, it's a haven of rest and relaxation. The rooms are lovely, named after various flowers, the lawn and gardens are full of flowers and a number of seating areas. It also has a pool to cool off on a hot day. We had dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent for both meals. Dinner service was amazing. Our two servers were completely in tune with one another.

This is our absolutely favourite hotel. It's perfect! It's small, beautifully furnished and in a wonderful, quiet location surrounded by fields and woodland. The staff are amazing, always to hand to help or provide guests with anything they might want. A beautiful, tasteful terrace overlooking the garden provides a perfect location for a leisurely breakfast and/or a delicious dinner. Good wine selection too. Comfortable, spotlessly clean bedrooms. Big fluffy white dressingowns and slippers are provided as well as swimming towels by the pool. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. An incredible place to unwind, relax and enjoy the best that France has to offer - wonderful food, wine and hospitality.
