Installed in a fully refurbished 19th century farm is the Écomusée de la Truffe, located just at the entrance of the town of Sorges. Large car parks on each side of the RN21 are closely located to provide easy access.
The museum, situated at the first floor of the building has disabled access. On the ground floor, you will find the welcome reception, the intercommunities area and a truffles and local products shop.
A visit to the museum will reveal the mysteries of the black diamond through an entirely renewed museography and the discovery trail will take you to the limestone plateau where the flora and fauna are so particular to the truffle grounds.
With prior booking, guided group tours are offered all year long; it is also possible to taste the truffles all year long and a demonstration of how to find and unearth the truffles is available during the harvest season.
