    • Bridoire, the Games Castle !

In the heart of the Monbazillac vineyard, Bridoire was the scene of a politico-media saga linked to Bokassa. After more than 22 years of abandonment and plunder, Bridoire is now restored and year-round inhabited.

Today it is the liveliest site in Bergerac with its 15 furnished rooms on 3 levels, its stables with horses and mini ponies but also : 100 games of yesteryear for all ages indoors and outdoors (archery bow and crossbow, game of skill and reflexes, giant chess board, giant goose game, grass skis, board games etc…).

Catering on site in July and August.

As an option in the castle park, the Mysterious Valley Labyrinth : a course of trials and puzzles in the woods.

Murder Escape game at night every Tuesday and Wednesday in July-August by reservation only.

Very nice place to go with young children. Lots of games in medieval style and look into the castle. Kids loved it

A really nice day out. Four stars for me means really very good, five is reserved for something amazing. The labyrinth kept us occupied in the woods for hours, then a simple meal in the chateau courtyard was followed by a swift tour of the inside. Personally I didn't think that much of the interior probably because of the place's troubled past. But still worth having a snoop. Then a couple of hours spent playing the nice naive outdoor games en-famille. Friendly and 'nice' not always a useful word, but here I think it applies to a fun and friendly day out. Enjoy.

This is great for the kids and adults, both inside and out. We lost hours here playing all the different games. Well worth the visit and the ££.
