The current nave was built in the 15th century. As for the bell tower, it has not undergone any modification since its construction in the 12th century.

The Chartreuse du Colombier is surrounded by a 2 hectare park, labeled Remarkable Garden. The stroll is done from the vegetable garden with old roses, from the greenhouse to the music pavilion, between boxwood, fountain and statues of Italian inspiration.

Very beautiful church which has a really interesting history: It is from this place that the myth of the PILGRIMS STICK originated. Opposite the church flows a spring which aims to be saving and has the power to heal. To get there you have to meander towards the small village in which it is located but if you can do it don't hesitate because it is a superb place. Opposite the church you have a restaurant where you can have lunch on the terrace. Finally in front of the church you will notice a small underground passage.

The former abbey church of Saint-Martial is one of the most important church buildings in the Périgord. It was declared a Monument Historique in 1956. The first abbey was already mentioned in history before the year 800. However, today's building no longer contains any traces or elements from this period or from subsequent buildings. The core elements of today's building date back to the 12th century and the renovations that took place over time between the 14th and 17th centuries.

Beautiful church with very interesting architecture. The vaults were removed in the nave leaving the framework visible. To the left of the choir, you can see the remains of the first building. Some traces of paint on the right of the choir. You can find some informative brochures at the entrance to the nave.
