    • LA CHARTREUSE DES ORMEAUX: A CHARMING SETTING IN THE WEST OF THE BLACK PÉRIGORD

      A historic and refined estate

Located in Val de Louyre et Caudeau, in the west of the Périgord Noir, the Chartreuse des Ormeaux stands in a preserved natural setting. This historic estate, completely renovated, combines elegance and comfort to offer an authentic experience.

It is made up of two main buildings: the Chartreuse, a traditional residence full of character, and the Charmeuse, a bright house with a resolutely contemporary style.

Each building can be rented independently or jointly, depending on the needs. Whether for a family getaway, a stay with friends or the organization of an event, the property adapts to all configurations while maintaining a high level of services.

      Spacious and comfortable accommodation

La Chartreuse, designed to accommodate up to 14 people, offers 7 carefully decorated bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a large, friendly kitchen. This house, steeped in history, retains its old-world charm while incorporating modern amenities for optimal comfort.

The more intimate Charmeuse can accommodate 8 people thanks to its 4 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. This house stands out for its contemporary style and its brightness, with an opening onto the surrounding nature.

      ACTIVITIES AND SPACES FOR EVERYONE

A park conducive to relaxation and entertainment

The estate extends over a wooded park where every corner invites serenity.

A large swimming pool provides a refreshing dip on sunny days, while deckchairs in the shade of the trees provide an ideal setting for reading or relaxing.

Leisure enthusiasts will find a pétanque court , a croquet area and board games to enhance their days.

      Personalized experiences

La Chartreuse des Ormeaux organizes themed stays on request.

Among them, wellness retreats including yoga sessions, walks and balanced meals prepared from local products.

During the winter season, weekends around the black truffle of Périgord allow you to discover this gastronomic treasure through cooking workshops, visits to truffle fields and tastings.

The Curious Boutique: a unique selection

Within the estate itself, the La Curieuse boutique is a unique address for lovers of decoration and gifts.

This concept store offers an eclectic selection of objects inspired by the two Chartreuse houses. Tableware, textiles, lighting and furniture found in second-hand stores or locally made, sit alongside jewellery, limited editions and handcrafted creations.

Each room tells a story and reflects the warm and refined spirit of the place.

The boutique evolves with the seasons, showcasing unique finds. Whether it's to bring back a souvenir, offer a gift or beautify your interior, La Curieuse is an essential stop for visitors to the estate.
