180 YEARS OF HISTORY, TRADITIONS… TO TASTE
The story of Maison CLOBIS REYMOND began in 1834, in Villamblard, in the heart of Périgord. Its founder Louis Reymond, known as “Clovis” innkeeper and distiller, obtained a license to distill in 1834.
Later, his son, whom he named Clovis, founded the Distillery. It is he who can be seen emerging, top hat on head and spoon in hand, from a bowl of flaming punch on the labels of the first bottles. The house obtained six grand diplomas in the 1890s and its founder was out of competition and member of the jury at many national and international exhibitions and received the industrial grand cross for punch and Clovis grog.
