  Sébastien and his team welcome you to the Café des Colonnes, an institution in Ribérac since 1832. This typical brasserie, friendly, warm, has an interior room with a deliciously retro decoration. Outside, two options for settling down: on the garden side on a terrace or in the shade of the lime trees in front of the bar.
  
  You will eat simple French family cuisine, dishes that everyone loves and knows, classic French bistros with a hint of Périgord! The strong point of the Café des Colonnes is its excellent quality/price ratio. Formulas of the day, à la carte dishes at 10 euros, good wine, good draft beer and a smiling and fast service.
  
  The Café des Colonnes is also a PMU, with a games area. It is the perfect place for a lunch with friends, family, to come and have a coffee croissant on the day of the Ribérac market, for a business lunch or a group dinner. It is open all year round and every day.

Cafe Des Colonnes is a great favourite. It oozes French Café atmosphere. Not Haute cuisine but good value Café style served with dignity and a smile. Set on the edge of the town square, it is located in a perfect corner with various seating locations, inside and out, especially desirable through summer months are the tables directly opposite under a row of beautiful tall Lime trees where one can watch the world go by in a congenial atmosphere.

Nice place, fast and friendly service. Couple of vegetarian options, the Mediterranean tart was delicious. Plenty of shaded seating under the trees.

Decent french all day cafe/bistro interior is great worth a visit and the covered courtyard is a welcome addition shaded in summer and dry in winter! Could do with a changing table for babies.
