    • Perched on its Pech, the Bastide de Monflanquin was created in 1256 by Alphonse de Poitiers. It is classified as "The Most Beautiful Villages of France" since 1989, and Station Verte de Vacances. This "new town" of the Middle Ages has all the characteristics of bastides: an orthogonal plan with its cart and cross streets, its central square and its arcades. Its Gothic church, its squares and the so-called House of the "Black Prince" make it special.

Come and discover in the Tourist Office the Museum of Bastides in Monflanquin, and the Escape Game to allow you to live an immersive adventure which takes you into the wonderful history of the bastides.

Locked up with your team, you have one hour to complete the mission and discover the secret of the Monflanquin Treasure. Your team will have to solve a series of riddles and brain teasers and eventually find the exit. A legend says that a treasure has been hidden for a long time in the bastide town of Monflanquin.

The Tourist Office also has a small museum above it. We haven't used the faculty for some years, but in the past you could buy discounted tickets for attractions. The staff are helpful and friendly.
