      Events

      • From New York to Biron:
Thanks to a collaboration between the Dordogne Departmental Council, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and Semitour Périgord, the Périgord Facsimile Workshop has just completed a replica of the Entombment of Christ, created in the 15th century by a master sculptor (whose identity remains unknown). The sculpture has now been returned to its place in the heart of the Biron manor chapel.
      • Holidays in August:
Every summer, the Château de Biron becomes the setting for Les Villégiatures, a festival of music and live performances. During this event, artists from all over Europe perform in an enchanting setting, under the stars and in the heart of this historic monument.
      • The Medieval Festival of Biron in October:
For the Bastides Festival, Biron Castle immerses you in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. The program includes battles, shows, music, workshops, and food, all for a lively weekend. Costumes are welcome!
