Aquafun located at the nautical base of Trémolat, offers you the rental of canoes or kayaks for a trip on the Vézère or the Dordogne.
These two rivers are navigable and meet at the confluence, at Limeuil.
Sailing on the Vézère in a canoe is a great experience to do with the family, to take advantage of this valley that has remained wild, narrower and more intimate. You can choose one of the routes, depending on the time you have to dedicate to the canoe trip or your sporting level. The circuits are from 8 to 31 kilometers. You can admire magnificent cliffs, pass through charming villages (Tursac, Les Eyzies, Campagne…) a few castles and steep panoramas.
Sailing on the Dordogne is an opportunity to admire the most beautiful hilltop villages in the region, to appreciate the medieval side of these exceptional architectural ensembles. The old stately homes stare at each other, observe each other and you are the spectator of this timeless duel! The Dordogne, which is also called the Espérance River, is wide and pleasant to navigate. In season, its course is slow and there is time to appreciate the landscape. Here too, you will have to choose a route according to the weather and the difficulty you wish to encounter. From 5 to 32km, the choice is yours!
Aquafun can provide you with waterproof containers, life jackets and all navigation equipment. On site, a small snack with cold drinks and what to enjoy an ice cream and eat on the go. Aquafun also has a base in Alles-sur-Dordogne opposite the village of Limeuil.
