  It's summer, do you want to enjoy a friendly, family-friendly outdoor activity ? Embark on a canoe-kayak at Lake Lescourou, 7 minutes from Eymet between the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne. This magnificent body of water with emerald reflections, covering an area of 120 hectares, allows you to paddle alone or with others for 1 to 2 hours. With friends, family or in groups of 6 to 40 people, the team welcomes you in a green, calm and relaxing setting. Observe the fauna and flora during your stroll along the water between the herons, swans and kingfishers of the region. Canoe-kayak rentals are available every day during the summer season , between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Parking, toilets, Wi-Fi, stroller access, everything has been designed to provide you with a moment of tranquility. The Escourou Lake is a fantastic place to be and they have canoes and pedalo to rent. The prices are very reasonable and the team are professional and well organised. Open in July and August. You get life jackets a waterproof container and they help you get in and out. The location is fantastic - the Escourou lake has lots of wildlife - fish (jumping), egrets, grey and black herons, cicadas, butterflies and dragonflies are easy to hear and see, but there's lots of other wildlife too. There's no water current and plenty of places to stop and take photos. Plenty of space to do your own thing. You can enjoy the calm and tranquility or use it as exercise. A really wonderful afternoon activity. 5-10 minutes from Eymet. No idea why it was quiet when we went as it was a brilliant experience. Highly recommend.
