Fancy a boat trip on the Dordogne River ? Rent a canoe or kayak for complete freedom ! Canoë Vacances provides equipment in excellent condition, comfortable and easy to use. Canoes are available for 2, 3, or 4 people, and kayaks for 1 person. Once you've chosen your route, head to the base for departures, which take place 3 times a day.

Good to know: Children under 12 paddling with their parents pay half price! Children under 5 are not permitted to participate (prefectural decree). Canoe Holidays offers special rates and packages for groups : family groups, groups of friends, hen parties, and company outings.

The Canoë Vacances water sports center is located 1km above the village of La Roque Gageac, in a lovely open area perfect for relaxing before or after your canoe trip. Parking is easy and free in a shaded lot. Bring your swimsuits and come swim at the beach, enjoy the picnic area with tables, or order a meal or drink from the center's bar/snack bar.

Several routes are available depending on your time, preference, and fitness level. Choose from 25, 16, or 9 km between the village of Carsac and the landing point opposite the magnificent Château des Milandes. You'll appreciate the beauty of these routes, which are among the most beautiful in the Périgord region. You'll see charming hilltop villages, lush countryside, and castles. Canoë Vacances is open from April to September ; you must call to reserve your canoe. Don't forget a change of clothes, a hat in summer, and sunscreen!
