Departing from Montignac, at the Montignac nautical stop, Kanoak offers you the rental of canoes and kayaks to go on an adventure with family or friends on the Vézère river. Montignac is the epicenter of parietal art in the Dordogne, with the caves of Lascaux and all around, in the Vézère Valley, exceptional natural, cultural and heritage sites around the beginnings of humanity, you are going to have a very lively holiday! A little sport to change visits? Treat yourself to a few hours, half a day or a day on the Vézère.

Kanoak offers 4 routes starting from the Montignac base (there is also a base in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère):

Montignac -> Thonac: 2 hours of descent, 8km, a perfect route for an introduction to canoeing, to enjoy the view of the sumptuous Château de Losse and its rocky promontory which juts out like the bow of a boat above the river .

Montignac -> Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère: We will increase the initial route, to cover 12km in about 3 hours and continue towards Sergeac, passing in front of the Château de Belcayre, to the pretty village of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, one of the most beautiful villages in France. A nice route to do over half a day with the family.

Montignac -> La Roque Saint-Christophe: 4 hours for 17 kilometres. A longer course, more sporty for friends who want to have a good time on the water, take a picnic, stop off on one of the small beaches in the summer season.

Montignac -> Tursac: about 5 hours of descent for 20 kilometers on the Vézère, a very pretty walk that can be done at a good pace over a day, you will appreciate the sumptuous landscapes of the villages, castles, cliffs and lush vegetation, we will cross several bridges, it is a great adventure to do when you are not afraid to paddle for a long time!

Kanoak is a small family structure, which welcomes you in the summer for convivial descents. A waterproof container will be provided and the canoes are comfortable.
