  I gave 5stars but it’s an iffy place. There is massive and rare collection overseen by the last family member after 27 generations. Make a reservation by phone if you can and you are in for a massive treat. Move heaven and earth to do that cause you will experience both when you get there. It is rare to experience a real non-touristy time in the area. This is one of the best.

  Very beautiful vintage car museum to see at all costs A place full of history in the same family for over 700 years The owner Guillaume de Passemar was inexhaustible on the history of the place and the family to see the old cellar from the 15th century transformed into a barrel cellar when there were Bergerac and Montbasillac produced on site And the bench of Druids where you will return It's a magical place to see except this property

  On vacation in the region, returning from Bergerac, I see an information panel, the castle of Sanxet, and its automobile museum....... I decide to take a little detour there..... . and what a joy to come across the owner of the place (Guillaume de Passemar), who welcomes us warmly, and opens the door to his museum, and that of his passion for it, by giving us the history of each vehicle , and the castle which houses this wonderful automotive heritage. It was a wonderful timeless moment. We feel that this family heritage is very close to his heart, listening to him talk about it. In addition to the museum, we were able to discover the history and surroundings of the castle. It is with pleasure that we will come back, see the museum again, and share some time with its owner. Many thanks for safeguarding your heritage and the time you offer your visitors.
