We have a group stayed in late April/2026 per tour organizer's arrangement. Location: below average. so many hotels are much closer to the old town center. But Sarlat is not a big town anyway so it is not unbearable. Rooms: decent size by French standard. But they disabled the A/C -- I asked the front desk and am told it is cool during the night and people tend to turn on A/C all the time. I guess they want to save utility cost or something but this is a 4-star hotel! It was very warm during the afternoon and there is no way to cool it off. Service: the staff are fairly attentive and welcoming. However when we asked to use the outdoor tables and chairs in the courtyard to try some of the food and wine we bought from the Saturday market, I are asked to buy drinks from their bar first! ------------------------------- In Summary: do NOT stay in this hotel unless you can't find other places. This is NOT a 4-start hotel for sure. I guess they got this rating by having a indoor swimming pool, which is tiny and useless anyway. All others facilities are 3-start at best.

Excellent establishment with a friendly welcome; the person in charge at night is also very friendly. The place is clean, the setting is lovely, especially the pool and jacuzzi area. In short, a very good establishment with good value for money.
