  Very attentive and friendly staff. Very well located near Sarlat, which is very pleasant. However, it lacks a private terrace to enjoy the beautiful weather in complete privacy. The accommodation has a slight damp smell, probably due to the age of the building. Mosquitoes are very present, which prevents you from fully enjoying the outdoors in complete relaxation. Overall, a good stay with a quality breakfast.

  Vacation in Sarlat with Gabrielle and Jean-François It is with great pleasure that we return for the fourth time to "Ö Clair de Lune" for a stay from July 3 to 15, 2025. A very warm welcome from our hosts in a quiet residence, a pleasant setting at the foot of the town center with private parking. We appreciate the delightful atmosphere of this house, being in their home while feeling "at home." Their presence is discreet, caring, and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. The generous, delicious breakfast, homemade by Jean-François, is served in a warm, air-conditioned space, with tea, coffee, a kettle, and dishes available all day, along with chilled drinks. Access to the refrigerator is appreciated for what's coming back from the market. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated by Gabrielle, and the bedding is very comfortable. The pool is a soothing place with parasols and high-performance mosquito repellents, allowing for a peaceful swim. The spa is beautifully decorated, offering a cozy and cocooning atmosphere, with body treatments provided by a charming professional. They introduced us to a restaurant nestled in the greenery with cuisine based on plants and edible flowers, very good and generous. A big thank you to our hosts for this very friendly stay. A place to remember for a top-notch vacation. See you soon for more relaxing moments. A special dedication to Jean-François for his technical advice on cycling, especially mountain biking.   This B&B is not recommended if you want to enjoy the pool and garden. The invasion of tiger mosquitoes at the pool and in the garden prevents peaceful access and could even be dangerous for children and people with allergies (30 bites in 45 minutes is unbearable). It's impossible to eat outside despite the welcoming layout. The owners, aware of the situation, don't inform guests; they take action, but not adequately. Given that the pool is highlighted in the presentation and in the price of the accommodation, I find it dishonest. They advertise it as being cheaper than their advertised prices on Booking.com, which is false. In the end, it's expensive for just the rest. The parking requires technical skills for the parking spaces, but they are available. The discretion of the gentleman mitigates the rigidity of the lady, for whom everything is "thought out" and immutable, which makes communication complicated with young people, or even with people under 65. The dog-friendly property is excellent, IF your dog doesn't shed. The breakfast prepared and cooked on-site by the owner is delicious. The air conditioning in the building is a real plus. It's also close to Sarlat on foot and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We won't be returning, primarily because of the quality of the exterior and the price.
