Campsite La Catie Farm - 2 stars Enjoy a friendly campsite in the heart of the Périgord Noir in Tamniès

Our Camping La Catie is located in Tamniès, a small village in the countryside, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, 15 km between the Dordogne valley with Sarlat and the Vézère valley with Montignac-Lascaux and Les Eyzies.

It was created on the family farm property in the early 1980s by Lili and Yves, initially a farm campsite with 6 pitches, then classified as a 1* campsite in the Prefecture in 2001 with 25 pitches.

In 2010, Philippe, the son, himself a farmer, took over the reins and discovered this new human adventure which he really enjoyed. He installed a few mobile homes and renovated the sanitary facilities in order to apply for the new 1* rating in 2012.

The swimming pool and the small pool arrived in 2014 and the terraces for the mobile homes were installed in 2016.
All this work was rewarded with a second star in 2017!
And a new challenge for the following years, 2020, 2021... renewal of the mobile homes.
