  Magnificent manor house. Very pleasant swimming pool. Breakfast on the terrace. On the other hand, the room is a little small and needs a bit of updating.

  There are both positive and negative aspects. The photos on the website and in the booking form no longer reflect reality. Positive: The pool is lovely and crystal clear. It's quiet outside at night. Very friendly young lady and gentleman. The bathroom is okay, the rooms are small. Small breakfast, in French style. Negative: The rooms are noisy. It's inevitable at an old chateau 😉 If you come back a bit late, there's no lighting on the terrace. The owner himself barbecues on the chateau terrace, while his house is 25 meters away with music blaring. You don't really feel welcome. What I miss: Maintenance! Weeds between the pool tiles are unacceptable. The same goes for the broken sunbed. And a few other things. Personally, I think that's a real shame. It could easily be upgraded, and for €150 a night, that's what you'd expect. The attached photos give an impression; it's certainly a beautiful spot, centrally located in the Dordogne.
