Le Clos de Saint Maime, charming bed and breakfast between Périgueux and Bergerac
Anne and Denis invite you to a moment suspended in time, for a peaceful stay in their magnificent guest house. Located between Périgueux and Bergerac, in Saint-Maime-de-Péreyrol, the Clos de Saint Maime is nestled at the top of a hill, in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Two guest rooms and a duplex are available. All three have private entrances for your independence and privacy. The guest rooms are on the garden level and feature comfortable bedding, tasteful and elegant décor, and each has a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The duplex is a small, completely renovated studio apartment on two floors, with a living room/lounge downstairs and the bedroom upstairs.
The accommodations feature a flat-screen TV and air conditioning for your comfort during the hot summer days.
By the beautiful swimming pool, a wooden outbuilding houses a garden lounge and a summer kitchen. You'll be able to prepare delicious meals yourself. Breakfast (included in the room rates) is served in the dining room or on the terrace. Denis, being from Brittany, will make you delicious crêpes, to be enjoyed with homemade yogurt, fresh bread, fruit juice, eggs, and bacon. The enclosed garden is a haven of peace and greenery, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and exploring the Périgord region.
Clos de Saint Maime is ideally located for exploring the Périgord region. On one side, Périgueux, with its Saint-Front Cathedral and its old town, a designated City of Art and History. On the other, Bergerac and its vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. You're also close to the magnificent Vézère Valley, with its renowned heritage and cultural sites, its natural landscapes, and its cliffs waiting to be explored. Come canoeing or take a traditional flat-bottomed boat trip on the Périgord rivers ! The Dordogne Valley also offers wonderful sightseeing opportunities : its hilltop villages like Domme and Beynac, its castles, gardens, and the river itself, which meanders through the valley and guides you along its banks.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the guesthouse, and ample parking is provided. Please note that it is possible to rent both bedrooms and the duplex for exclusive use of the entire guesthouse.Check-in from 3:30pm to 6:00pm (please notify us if you will be arriving late)
