Walnut oil from the Inn les Marthres farm in Salignac
In Salignac Eyvigues, in the heart of the Black Périgord, not far from Sarlat and the Vézère Valley, the exploitation of the Marthres has been run by the family for more than 3 centuries. In a 16th century manor house, the Manein family works the land and raises its animals with respect, in the purest tradition of Périgordine farms.
14 ha of walnut trees on the property allow the production of this high quality walnut oil. With a beautiful color between gold and amber, it has subtle aromas and unmistakable properties for health! Walnut oil is rich in valuable Omega-3s and other antioxidants. Walnuts are a tradition in Périgord, the trees find in the soil all the minerality and richness they need, as well as a sunny and mild climate.
