La Ferme de Peyrignolles Walnuts in Grignols

The Dominique family has been passionate about the cultivation and processing of Périgord walnuts from the beginning of the family business , at the end of the 19th century.

For more than 30 years, it is Alain Dominique who manages and works every day on the farm under the benevolent gaze of his parents, former owners of the farm. His son Théo joined him recently to help him develop his most precious asset: walnut oil. The two men work hard all year round to make their 1,500 walnut trees thrive, including protecting them from pests with natural products.

For only thus can they obtain the best possible fruit. Broken by machine but shelled by hand on site, these beautiful nuts are then transported to an approved artisanal mill located in the neighboring village. This is where they are heated and pressed slowly until the precious nectar is obtained.
