Brasserie la Chavagn', located in Coly-Saint-Amand between Terrasson and Montignac-Lascaux, is the fruit of a passion transformed into a true brewing profession. With seventeen years of experience, including five as a brewer, its founder launched this venture in November 2013.

In the heart of the Périgord Noir: an exceptional terroir

Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, Brasserie la Chavagn' benefits from an exceptional setting, anchored in the commune of Coly since 2016. This small village of 220 inhabitants, bathed by the Coly river, provides pure water, used carefully in the manufacturing process of Chavagn' beers.

The brewery's approach is based on eco-responsible choices. It prioritizes the use of French malts and hops, local raw materials such as grains and fruit, and excludes all processing aids and preservatives. Furthermore, to reduce its environmental impact and support local employment, the brewery sources its packaging from regional suppliers.

An authentic range inspired by the Périgord Noir

Brasserie la Chavagn' offers a wide range of classic, fruit, and craft beers, all brewed using traditional methods. The process, free of any additives, utilizes spring water from the Coly River, malts, regional grains, and 100% French hops.

The classic collection unveils six unique beers, highlighting the authenticity of the recipes. La Chavagn' invites you to rediscover familiar flavors, revisited to surprise your palate.

Craft beers: travel with a taste of elsewhere

The Craft Beer range, brewed using traditional raw materials, transports you to the world of artisanal beers from across the Channel and across the Atlantic. A unique tasting experience, created in the heart of the Dordogne.

Fruity treats: delicacies with local flavors

The Fruity Collection offers original beers that combine the delights of Dordogne chestnuts and fresh Corrèze raspberries. Indulge in this brewing treat, a symbol of local expertise.

The store: discover, shop, enjoy

At the brewery, the experience doesn't end with tasting. You can enjoy our beers on-site and purchase them in our shop. There, you'll find our entire range, along with related products and handcrafted items made with our beers.

Free tours and tastings

For individuals, visits and tastings are free. For groups of ten or more, advance booking is required. The brewery, located on the GR461 hiking trail between Coly and Saint Amand-de-Coly, also welcomes hikers for picnics, encouraging them to enjoy the brewery's own beers.

Opening hours: easy access all year round

Opening hours are adapted to the seasons, ensuring regular access to the brewery throughout the year.

• From September to the end of June: Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. without interruption.
• In July and August: Monday from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm.
• From mid-April to the end of August: Sunday mornings at the Saint-Geniès market.

Beer tap rental: your event, our brewing service

La Chavagn' invites itself to your festive events with 20 or 30 L kegs. The loan of draft beer dispensers adapted to your request is free, offering an authentic touch to your celebrations.
